A bride wanted a typical Southern wedding with draped, soft colors and elegant accents, but her mother ultimately took over all of the decisionmaking. We were to create a stylish upscale event venue. The backyard was the same size as the tent, so we had to work with a tree company to come in and tie back the trees. The clear tops were a success.
Our biggest challenge was the weight of the lighting that was not ours. We had to figure out how to distribure the weight of the 60’, 1,000 lb trusses horizonitally along our structure trusses. We worked out a secure solution and ended up using the six center trusses.
