Past winners of the Bruce W. Wodetzki Award

1990
The first award was presented at the 1990 midwinter tent rental meeting in Anaheim, California to Henry Wodetzki.  Henry was active in IFAI and the tent rental division and served as president of IFAI in the early 1960s.  www.americanpavilion.com

1991
The second award was presented at the 1991 meeting and exhibition in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to John Daus. Daus, president of Anchor Industries Inc., who was instrumental in leading the industry in the development of new technology and greater growth.

1992
Ernie Hagler of Denver Tent was the recipient during the Orlando meeting.

1993
The third award was presented to J. Robert Graves, founder of Main Line Party Rentals, after 24 years in the tent rental industry. This took place in Las Vegas.

1994
Harry Oppenheimer of HDO Productions L.P. received the award at our meeting in Tampa for the leading role he played in the growth and development of the tent rental industry.

1995
Two special posthumous awards were given to Mr. Thomas Rinehart and Mr. Bill Moss.

1996
Lou Brown of Anchor in Orlando.

1997
Pat McBride of PJ McBride in Orlando.

1998
Bill Pretsch of Mahaffey Tent Co. at our San Antonio meeting.

1999

2000
Bernard Armbruster of Armbruster Manufacturing Co. received the award in Laguna Beach, Calif. Armbruster chaired both the Education Committee and the Staking Study.
