A new member benefit is now available for the Tent Rental Division—a code of ethics counter card that explains “working with a Tent Rental Division member means you get quality products and services.”
The card features the TRD Seal and a list of resources TRD has made available to members including:
- The IFAI Procedural Handbook for the Safe Installation and Maintenance of Tentage
- Permitting of Tents Guidelines
- Staking and Anchoring Guidelines
- Training for the Tent Installer workshops
- Tentexperts.org for code and industry updates
A PDF of the document is available for download in the members-only section of the website.
The project is a result of a request from members who expressed concern when losing jobs to companies who did not always follow industry standards. The Code of Ethics card will assist members in letting their customers know that as a member of an industry trade association, they strive to promote safety, quality and creativity in the use of rental tents.
